Currently the ET Open and ETPRO rulesets are released for the following supported engines:

Suricata

  • Suricata 7.0.3 (and greater sub-versions)
  • Suricata 6.0.x (leverages Suricata 5 ruleset)
  • Suricata 5.0.x

Snort

  • 2.9.13 and later for versioning 2.9.x.
